Sahm Adrangi, CIO, and Founder of Kerrisdale Capital Management LLC, officially launched his venture in 2009. Sahm Adrangi and Kerrisdale are titans in the investment realm and focus on a variety of opportunities such as long-term investments, shorts, and other specific financial situations. Kerrisdale Capital is extremely research centric and prides themselves on correcting perspectives on overly hyped shorts and hidden gem longs on the market. Sahm Adrangi has led Kerrisdaleā€™s research department into industries including biotechnology, telecommunications, and mining. Sahm Adrangi established himself shortly after starting Kerrisdale Capital Management. He did this first and foremost by exposing fraudulent Chinese companies. He also explained how ad fraud works. He informed the audience that ad fraud is when online advertisement impressions and click conversions are fraudulently done to create revenue for the platforms that are being advertised on. This can be done in all types of ways including tagging and stuffing web pages. Sahm Adrangi made clear that the rise of ad fraud will create declining revenue in the ad tech industry and he is determined to help out the imposters that are making this happen.
