For Gulf Coast Western, LLC’s CEO, President and Director Matthew Fleeger, philanthropy is one way to give back to your community. He strives to support programs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that help children succeed. As a native to the area, he knows that there are some children who need help and looks to provide financial resources to charities that provide it.
His father founded Gulf Coast Western, LLC in 1970, and he followed in his father’s footsteps by getting a degree in Business Administration back in 1985 from Southern Methodist University. He went to work for his father for a few years after graduation, but then moved on for a few years to learn about acquisitions, building partnerships, and marketing techniques that could help him grow in his base of knowledge.
After his father retired, Matthew Fleeger became the leader of Gulf Coast Western, LLC, and since that time he has used his education he gained working for others to get Gulf Coast Western, LLC, on the map in the oil and gas industry. He works hard at building relationships with other businesses and knows that it takes strong collaborations that are mutually beneficial in order to succeed over the long term.
His two favorite charities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area are the Sadie Keller Foundation and the Parish Episcopal School. The Sadie Keller Foundation is named after Sadie Keller, a child who now shares information about childhood cancer as a survivor of childhood leukemia herself. The Parish Episcopal School is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math school that focuses on using hands-on teaching methods to reach students.
Matthew Fleeger continues to grow Gulf Coast Western, LLC, and has seen progress at the helm of the expanding company.
