Jana Messerschmidt has worked at top-profile companies such as Netflix and Twitter, which are famous for their capability to change how people use Internet-based services. She was the Director of Business and Development at Netflix from 2009 to 2010. Her role was to build and expand the early streaming stages partnerships of Netflix. She also served as the VP of Global Business Development and Platform at Twitter. Here, she had a team of more than one hundred and fifty members in the creation of global partnerships, including both enterprise-focused and consumer-based alliances. Jana successfully dealt with partner management, account management, platform and developer marketing and enterprise sales. She also successfully assisted with business development, developer relations, and technical program management for data science and partner engineering. She worked for Twitter until 2016.
